Predefined configurations and executable software
- Please respect the usage rights of the following links
- Emulator with empty configuration
- Emulator with base configuration
containing Minerva-ROM, Toolkit 2 and an empty MDV- and WIN-drive
- Emulator configuration for
booting from MDV1,
whereby the MDV1-drive is bound to the WIN2-Zip-drive with support of
the DEV-device
- Before system boot the WIN2-drive should be loaded with a
ZIP-file, which contains a BOOT-file for MDV1
- The DEV-device is published as
dev205.zip
- Together with the QL-systems delivered
Psion-programs
like Quill or Abacus can be started with that
- Adventures like "QL-Zeitfalle" from
https://dilwyn.qlforum.co.uk/games/adventures/index.html
can be executed with that configuration
- Please respect the usage rights!
- Emulator configuration for
booting from FLP1,
whereby the FLP1-drive is bound to the WIN2-Zip-drive with support of
the DEV-device
Usage
- Emulator control (Tools from left to right)
- Load configuration
- Save configuration
- Pause running emulation
- Start or continue emulation
- Start or continue emulation with maximum speed
- Stop the emulation (System holds configuration and
can be reconfigured)
- Reset the CPU (Warm start: ROMs and WINs unchanged)
- Reset of the system (Cold start: ROMs and WINs as
configured actually)
- Switch on/off status display (at the moment only the speed
relative to the hardware system)
- Switch to fullscreen
- Configuration (settings with * become only actual after a restart
of the system); a simple reset of the CPU is not enough
- ROMs (*), keyboard, mouse
- MDV-storage media in QLAY-format (please consider!)
- For usage of the WIN-drive (*) (WIN1_, ..., WIN8_)
the NFA-AddOn-ROM is necessary
- WIN-drives (*) in form of flat standard-zip-archives
for simple text oder binary files, which are at
most compressed with deflate
- WIN-drives (*) in form of QL-zip-archives or
zip-archives with a QLAY-qlaydir-file
with execution information for executable files
